According to Marketshare.com, Internet Explorer still ranked as no. 1 browser in 2008 while the other browsers such as firefox, safari, google chrome, opera, were invading into more market share. Firefox has been very popular for downloading and now is having 21.34% of the browser market. Google chrome, the simple and easy browser, has taken 1.04% of the current market after only 4 months since its lauch; maybe its growth will continue in the year of 2009.
What can we learn from this information? Users’ experience sometimes is somewhat determined by the browser they use. As a small business owner, it is important to understand what browser the customers use and try to improve their online experience by offering more attractive services or designs according to their surfing habits.
